Structure of the Organisation

The National Executive Committee meets at least four times each year. Committee members are SWCF members, working in a voluntary capacity, for a period of 3 years. The NEC consults with the Council of Reference, and seeks to further the aims of SWCF. The NEC seeks a wide range of geographical and professional membership.

Current members are drawn from Ireland, Scotland, Yorkshire, Midlands, Home Counties and London. We are interested in acquiring representation from Wales, the South West, East Anglia and Kent. Students and newly qualified workers are not currently represented and we would welcome offers. Expertise in working in the field of substance abuse is also invited.
